Mode of payment

We accept cash only at the moment; however credit card payments will be accepted shortly.

Can we hire drivers / chauffeurs for longer periods?

Yes, you can hire drivers / chauffeurs for longer periods (daily, weekly, monthly, 3 months, 6 months and yearly). For more information, please e-mail us on info@thedriver.ae

Can we book the service even if the vehicle is under lease / rent?

Yes, you may do the booking however all documents should be available inside the vehicle such as registration cards (mulkia), insurance coverage of the vehicle and trade license of the rent a car company. Any police fine due to the non-availability of these documents shall be passed on to you.

Do I need to sign the receipt given to me by the driver / chauffeur?

Yes, you have to sign the receipt before the start of the journey as this will mean that you have agreed to the terms and conditions,and agreed that the vehicle is registered with full insurance coverage, otherwise the driver / chauffeur has the right to reject or refuse to drive your vehicle.

What are your operations hours?

Our call-center is operational 24/7.

Where do you pick-up and drop-off?

We are operate within the Dubai city limits. We also provide drivers going or coming to Dubai from all other Emirates. 

Do we run background checks?

Yes, our chauffeurs go through a very stringent interview process. They must be professional, presentable, possess excellent communication skills as well as the required knowledge and experience of driving in the UAE. These qualities are essential and required for your and our comfort and confidence to allow the Drivers to operate your vehicle. We also require every Driver to have a Police Clearance Certificate before being hired.
